Had such a nice dinner, and Ed just so enjoyed it. Then we went for a drive out in the Fulton area, all gravel roads etc. and Mag had not been out and about that way for 25 years, so she said, but she could still remember so many details of who lives where, and knew most of the current occupants of farms. And Ron was just delighted--hadn't been out either, but for many more years. It was fun to be a mouse in the corner and just listen--many times all 4 of them talking at once. Just a festival of old stories. Ron was recalling his high school classmates, stories etc. Just a WONDERFUL day.

"Mass production of the so-called $100 laptop has begun, five years after the concept was first proposed. Computer manufacturer Quanta has started building the low-cost laptops at a factory in Changshu, China."

Famous Al's Applesauce Factory

This is what one day of cookin' and pickin' produced. It looks like there are enough apples to make about 5 more barrels of hand made full bodied sauce that you have to taste to appreciate. The sauce is prepared from the best parts of organically grown apples hand picked from backyard trees in small town South Dakota after the full season texture and taste is at the optimum. The apples are hand peeled and cored, mechanically cold processed, blended with fine California wines and juices and spiced to perfection while they cook slowly at Famous Al's Applesauce Factory.
